5-7. Offset

Corporations based in Japan can use the environmental value represented by Regenerative NFTs to offset their greenhouse gas emissions. Specifically, by submitting a request for environmental value through the SINRA interface and specifying the method of receipt, they can acquire carbon credits and achieve the offset.

Individuals cannot offset their own emissions using carbon credits. However, SINRA is considering a future development roadmap for a system that allows individuals to contribute to the reduction of emissions by collaborating with companies.

When carbon credits are offset, a signature stating that they have been offset will be placed within the Regenerative NFT's Generative Art.
