> 大気中の炭素収支に着目すると、排出削減量や除去量がどの排出源または除去源に由来するかということにこだわる必要はありませんが（「1トンは1トン」）、気候や人類の幸福に対する実際のインパクトに注目すると無視することはできません。NBSへの投資は、産業による排出削減と炭素除去技術への投資に比べて、地域社会や国家経済に対する利益だけではなく、生物多様性、適応、その他のSDGsに対して大きなコベネフィットを生み出すことができます。

> 自然生態系では、炭素密度（単位面積当たりの炭素貯留量）と生物多様性の間に高い相関関係があります。COVID-19パンデミックで劇的に示されたように、生物多様性の保護は、世界の食料システム（受粉を介して、など）や人間の健康を支える生態系の機能維持に不可欠である。さらに、湿地や森林に覆われた流域は、洪水や干ばつを軽減し、マングローブは沿岸地域を高潮から守り、森林は周辺地域の気温を穏やかにしたり都市部の熱波による健康被害を和らげたりします。また森林は、薪、食料、繊維など地域コミュニティに重要な収入源をもたらしています。

われわれはSINRAを通じて自然資源の維持・再生が推進されることで、単なるカーボンクレジットの創出に加えて、生物多様性や人間の生活のウェルビーイングなど、多くのコベネフィットを生み出していきます。
